WRIGHT CENTENNIAL MUSEUM
Wright Centennial Museum
In 2012, a new addition was added to the Wright Centennial Museum making it a fine repository for the history and artifacts for the Town of Wright. The mission of this institution is to preserve the history, culture and development of Southern Campbell County. Exhibits include the daily lives of homesteaders, sheep and cattle ranches and the growth of the energy industry. World War I and II memorabilia is also on exhibit here. See the seven-ton coal haul truck that was once used at the Black Thunder Mine southeast of Wright. It was retired as much larger trucks were brought into service. ARCO donated this coal hauler to the museum in 1990.
